Procedure concerning student-athlete travel:  From Coach Blue, Athletic Director - GISD

(1)  Parents must inform coaches ahead of time if they plan to take their child home after a competition.
(2)  Parents must make contact with the coach after the competition.  Coaches cannot allow athletes to travel home with any relative other than the parent.  It is acceptable to allow an athlete to travel home with a relative other than the parent, IF, the parent has made arrangements with the coach earlier in the week and prior to the competition.(3) The coach must obtain a written note by the parent explaining that the athlete is riding home with the parent.

Meet Format   
-    Meet will follow 2010-2011 UIL and National Federation Rules.
-    Top 8 swimmers will return Saturday for the finals.  Top 8 will score for the team and the top 6 advance to the   
      Regional Meet held February 4th  & 5th , 2011.
-    10 min. break after the 200 Med.Rel, 50 - yard Free, 500 Free, and the 100 yard breastroke.
-    Prelim will be circle seeded by entry time.

Parking
The University is open on Friday and parking rules will be enforced.
Please park in public lots or garages and not in "permit only" areas.
Due to University of Texas Basketball game on Saturday, there will be no parking in C lot 80 (Swim Center lot).

1/2 mile east on Tamina and turn left on David Memorial Drive The Natatorium sits next to the Kroger Corparate building on the right.
