My name is Denisse Baldwin and I am
the Math Title I/ACCELL teacher at
Pickett Elementary School. I was born in Temple, TX and moved to Austin when I
was five years old. I grew up going to Round Rock schools and was gladly
accepted into
Texas A&M University
where I received a B.S. in Elementary Education. I spent my first two years
teaching 3rd grade in Grand Prairie, TX. My husband, my beagle, and I moved to
Georgetown in the summer of 2009 to be closer to both of our families. This will be
my third year teaching in Georgetown and I really enjoy teaching in this area.
This fall I will continue working on my Master's in Instructional Leadership from
Texas State University.

My Name
is Nicole Abbott. I am the Reading Title 1/ACCELL teacher at Pickett
Elementary School. Since I graduated from Missouri Southern State
University, I have worked with children in a variety of settings as a Youth
and Family Counselor and as an Administrator of residential facilities.
Over the last ten years, I have taught 2nd grade self-contained, 4th grade
Language Arts and Social Studies, and 5th grade Language Arts and Social
Studies.
