Welcome to Ms. Smith's home page! I teach 6th grade Language Arts and 6th grade Intro to Art at Tippit Middle School. Education & Teaching Background:
I am so happy to work at Tippit Middle School and for Georgetown ISD. I love my job and I could not ask for a better place to work. I am very excited about this school year! I graduated from the University of Texas and love everything about the color burnt orange and my Texas Longhorns! I lived in New York and Dallas and came back to the Austin area as soon as I could! I have lived in Austin and Georgetown for the last 4 years...I feel like Texas (especially the Austin area) is the only place I can call home! I have an amazing 6 year- old little boy, named Jackson, who attends Frost Elementary. In my free time, I love reading and writing, watching movies, spending time with my son, playing with my cat Charlie, drinking coffee, eating Mexican food, and visiting with my family members (I have a huge family!). I love teaching Middle School and having the opportunity to interact with my students. I love coming to work each and every day! Contact Information:
